Sylvia Goldschmidt will be presenting on May 3, 2024 at the AAML NY Chapter Symposium – CLE, where her partners Donna M. Genovese (fellow), Dolores Gebhardt, Kathleen Donelli and associate Helen H. Wu, will also be in attendance.

Sylvia Goldschmidt is lecturing at a CLE program for the New York Women’s Bar Association (NYWBA) on Matrimonial Law and Tax Returns, on March 28th, 2024.

The Women in the Law Society (WILS), founded by partner Kathleen Donelli, was established with the common goal of mentoring law students to have a healthy work/life balance, learn to use networking to their advantage, and share the importance of community service.  On March 21, 2024, WILS sponsored a CLE program titled “Diversity, Equity and Inclusion of Women in the Legal Profession.”  The program presented an overview of inroads made by women into the legal profession since the Honorable Sondra M. Miller (of counsel to G&G) broke the glass ceiling when she was admitted to Harvard Law School in its first class of women, in 1950.

Partner, Kathleen Donelli, is an adjunct Professor at Elisabeth Haub School of Law, Pace University, teaching courses in Matrimonial Law Practice and Collaborative Law.  Professor Donelli’s Matrimonial Law students’ final is to submit motion papers and present oral arguments on relevant issues that occur during the pendency of divorce actions.  For the third year, the following judges will preside at the students’ oral arguments: Honorable Linda S. Jamieson, J.S.C.; Honorable Nancy Q. Koba, J.S.C.; and Honorable Mark C. Dillon, J.S.C..
